Richmond Rotary is supporting the United Nations Association East Bay Chapter in its annual recognition of United Nations Day with this year’s Global Citizens Awards on Sunday, October 23 at 3pm. Among the honorees is the Richmond-based Watershed Project.

As many of you know, our fellow Rotarian Dan Tanita passed away on September 18 in Phoenix. Dan was a Richmond Rotary member for almost 40 years and served as President in 1993-94 and started the Peres free Dental Clinic in 1998. We will be holding a “Celebration of Life” for our friend on October 22 at Peres K-8. Please join us is you are able.
