Art of Peace Project Unveiling on Rotary Visibility Day
Richmond Rotary Past President and Coordinator of our Art of Peace Project Stacey Street welcomed all to the unveiling of the sculpture yesterday on Rotary Visibility Day at the Reentry Success Center in Richmond.
The sculpture “Time for Peace” made from decommissioned gun parts was created by 3 artists including 2 that had been previously incarcerated. Funding for the project came from a Rotary District 5160 grant.
Thanks to all of the partners who collaborated on this 3 year project and especially to Stacey to making it happen!
