Rotarians honored by District Governor Joy Alaidarous: Mac Lingo, Don Lau, Brian Fay, Aaron Winer
On October 31st, our esteemed Mac Lingo was honored with the coveted Major Donor award by our District Governor Joy Alaidarous for his continued generosity to the Rotary foundation. Mac joined us today after having heart surgery yesterday! A big thank you to Mac and lets wish him well in his recovery.
Our incredible Don Lau was honored today with the Building Bridges Award for his ginormous contribution to the club and the community. Thank you Don!
Our awesome Brian Fay was presented the Paul Harris Plus 7 award for his continued generosity to the Rotary foundation. His contributions have really made a difference and we appreciate him. Thank you Brian.

On October 29, President Nakele Rechenauer was honored to join Rotarian Erle Brown and present $100 checks to the hard working teachers at Peres K-8 school. Erle started this program to recognize the incredible dedication of our teachers.

Rotary was a proud sponsor of the 6th Annual West Coast Chess Alliance Tournament held on Saturday, October 25. Don Lau reported that the Dan Tanita Free Dental Clinic reopened on October 17 after almost a year of being closed due to changing legal requirements! Special thanks to volunteer Clinic Director Dr Josh Rosales for his commitment to getting the Clinic open. Also thanks to admin support Quarana McKnight-Davis and Principal Colette West.
