Richmond Rotary’s display at the Rotary District 5160 Assembly on May 3 featured our “An Immigrant Story – Miraflores Centennial Project”
It highlights the Japanese American flower nursery story with educational exhibits along the Miraflores Greenbelt. The story which starts in 1906, includes WWII internment and a return to Richmond after the war. Thanks to Rotary past president Jan Brown’s leadership this project will soon be completed.
