Rotarians at Work | Wendell Street Lighting
On Tuesday evening January 28th, the Richmond City Council acknowledged National Human Trafficking Prevention Month.
Key community partners involved in the 23rd Street Corridor Working Group received explicit recognition for their efforts on behalf of the Richmond community, as outlined in the proclamation text.
Katrina Natale, J.D. from the Contra Costa District Attorney’s office, and Sgt. Florencio Rivera from RPD were joined by representatives from various agencies, including the Wendell Area Action Team, Faith in Action East Bay, Community Violence Solutions, and the Richmond Rotary Club, to receive recognition.
Special thanks extended to Rotarians Shawn Dunning for his advocacy and Yenny Garcia for representing the Richmond Rotary Club during the meeting.
These efforts demonstrate our commitment to driving positive change in the community and promoting initiatives that benefit all.
