Thursday April 17th was a special day for Richmond Rotary.
We helped paint and clean up the soon to open “Josh & Elaina Genser” Culinary Club at RPAL. Rotary also made a financial contribution via a District grant towards the purchase of key appliances for the kitchen. Very awesome way to honor the memory of Richmond Rotarian Josh Genser. We are now looking forward to having a meal at the kitchen! #rotariansatwork

What a fabulous night of food (still smell the garlic), fun and fellowship in support of their impactful programs for our local youth. Thanks board members Doreen Covell and Nakele Obleton Rechenauer for hosting our tables!
Continue reading →On Saturday, March 29th, 11 Richmond Rotarians and some Berkeley Rotarians went to work at Nuturing Independence through Artistic Development (NIAD) removing the current reception counter which will be replaced with an accessible reception counter. We also constructed 6 storage cabinets.
This was Rotary President Henry Moe’s signature project for his year Rotarians at Work!
Continue reading →Don Lau stopped by the amazing Richmond Emergency Food Pantry to drop off a check in support of their all volunteer effort to provide food to those in need. Open every Tuesday and Friday they serve over 40,000 people each year. Thanks Linda L Young for your service on their Board and special thanks to volunteer Program Manager Patricia Davidson. So glad Richmond Rotary can offer support to your highly impactful program in our community.
