CoBiz Food Give Away – Rotarians at Work

On February 4th and March 6th, Rotarians assisted with the CoBiz first Wednesday of the month Grocery Giveaway. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables! Bread products, milk, and packaged meals. All who participated were able to fill 2 shopping bags with food. Great partnership with CoBiz!

We are excited to participate in the next event on April 1st.

Plant to Plate Internship Program

Richmond Rotary is pleased to invested in the Plant to Plate internship program. The program as described by Executive Director Kelli Barram mentors, empowers, and prepares high school students to build job and life skills through hands on training. The request was sponsored by Ruthie Abelson Olivas who is pictured presenting the check to Graduate Program Assistant Liam Africa.

Moving Forward Scholarship Program

Support for Peres elementary school teachers

On October 29, President Nakele Rechenauer was honored to join Rotarian Erle Brown and present $100 checks to the hard working teachers at Peres K-8 school. Erle started this program to recognize the incredible dedication of our teachers.
