Continue reading →Another day…another Rotary Work Party. on May 24, Richmond Rotary provided funding to assist the Community Safety and Cohesion Lighting Initiative(CSCLI) and Wendell Avenue Action Team to purchase and install solar lights along that corridor to address crime prevention including human and drug trafficking. Shawn Dunning is our Rotary coordinator on the project and today Shawn, Ruthie Abelson Olivas and Don Lau worked with other volunteers to install lights.
Continue reading →It was a beautiful day at the Miraflores Greenbelt Volunteer Work Party on May 23! Sun was shining and there were many smiling faces there to work to clean up the Miraflores Park. Richmond Rotary was there in force. Many thanks to all who came out to help and to the City of Richmond for organizing the event Looking forward to the completion of Rotary’s Miraflores Centennial project.
