May 20, 2025 | RICHMOND, Calif. – In celebration of its 25th Anniversary, the Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park and Rosie the Riveter Trust will host the Rosie Rally & 25th Anniversary Festival on Saturday, June 7, 2025. This family-friendly festival will bring together generations to honor the enduring legacy of the women and men who powered America’s home front during World War II.

Community Safety and Cohesion Lighting Initiative(CSCLI) and Wendell Avenue Action Team

Another day…another Rotary Work Party. on May 24, Richmond Rotary provided funding to assist the Community Safety and Cohesion Lighting Initiative(CSCLI) and Wendell Avenue Action Team to purchase and install solar lights along that corridor to address crime prevention including human and drug trafficking. Shawn Dunning is our Rotary coordinator on the project and today Shawn, Ruthie Abelson Olivas and Don Lau worked with other volunteers to install lights.

Miraflores Greenbelt Volunteer Work Party | Rotarians at Work

It was a beautiful day at the Miraflores Greenbelt Volunteer Work Party on May 23! Sun was shining and there were many smiling faces there to work to clean up the Miraflores Park. Richmond Rotary was there in force. Many thanks to all who came out to help and to the City of Richmond for organizing the event Looking forward to the completion of Rotary’s Miraflores Centennial project.
