Evening Viewing of exhibit at NIAD Art Center

Members and friends from Rotary Club of Richmond, California were hosted by NIAD Art Center for a delightful evening viewing the current exhibit featuring artists Heather Hamann and Michael Nunez, touring the studio space and enjoying snacks and drinks. The event was an auction item benefiting Rotary and saying thank you from NIAD for the ongoing support!!

Richmond Rotary was proud to provide support to the West Coast Chess Alliance for the 5th Richmond Chess Festival on Saturday 10/12.
T C “The Black Knight” Ball thanked Don Lau and Rotary and sent the following: “Encouraging adults to engage a local youth in a game of chess. One of the hidden treasures of the game of chess is that it is a multigenerational, mentally stimulating game that enhances diversity and bringing people together.”

Celebrating 50 years of Early Childhood Mental Health Program

On Thursday, October 10th, the 50 year celebration of the Early Childhood Mental Health Program was made even more special as our esteemed Rotary Star, Don Lau, received the prestigious Founders Impact Award.

Joined by Rotary President Henry Moe, fellow Rotarians, family, and friends, this momentous occasion honored Don’s unwavering dedication to transforming lives.
