Richmond Main Street Spirit & Soul Festival 2025

Richmond Rotary was proud to be a partner at this year’s Spirit & Soul Festival 2025 on September 20.

Thanks to Rotary Grant sponsor Ruthie Abelson Olivas and Rotarian and Richmond Main Street Executive Director Sarah Wally for bringing this successful event to downtown Richmond.

Richmond Rotary winning at RotaCare Bowl-a-Thon

On Saturday, September 27, Richmond Rotary showed out for a good cause at the RotaCare Bowl-a-Thon.

Thanks to Captain Henry Moe, pro bowler Aaron Winer and his daughter Astra, and Don Lau as the weak link, Richmond Rotary won High Team Score, High Individual Score (Aaron). Head cheerleader Zee Handoush won the 50-50 raffle and of course donated it all back to RotaCare. Thanks also to cheerleader Gerald Fay.

A great day for a great cause!

Josh and Elaina Genser Culinary Center Ribbon-cutting Ceremony Sep 25

Thursday, September 25 was the grand opening of the Josh and Elaina Genser Culinary Center at RPAL. Rotary was proud to provide funding for the appliances at the center. Rotary previous president Oscar Garcia oversaw the District Grant that funded the project. Rotarian Sarah Wally managed the project. Rotarians also did volunteer work at the center. Congrats to Executive Director Larry Lewis and the board and staff at RPAL.
