Richmond Rotary provided funding to Collaborising
August 14th
Richmond Rotary provided funding to Collaborising to support families moving from unhoused situations to housing.
The following is an update from Collaborising Executive Director Lea Murray:
“Ramon Quintana met with 3 families at the Target in Richmond in order to purchase household goods with the funding that were provided by Richmond Rotary. I met with Angela Snowden, Sade Johnson and her 2 children and Ayanna Harris and her 4 children.
Angela Snowden is a former Rydin Rd resident who has been housed since the sunset of Rydin Rd. She currently works for the Oakland A’s in a food service capacity.
Sade Johnson is a new client with the Richmond Housing First program. Sade and her 2 children have found their way from living in a parked car to a home of their own.
Ayana Harris is a single mother of 4 children including a beautiful 8 month old baby boy. She has been in the Housing First program for 3 months now.
Collaborising is so grateful to have been able to play a small part in this very important program. Thank you Richmond Rotary for your contribution to their lives!”
