Continue reading →On Saturday, September 27, Richmond Rotary showed out for a good cause at the RotaCare Bowl-a-Thon.
Thanks to Captain Henry Moe, pro bowler Aaron Winer and his daughter Astra, and Don Lau as the weak link, Richmond Rotary won High Team Score, High Individual Score (Aaron). Head cheerleader Zee Handoush won the 50-50 raffle and of course donated it all back to RotaCare. Thanks also to cheerleader Gerald Fay.

Continue reading →Thursday, September 25 was the grand opening of the Josh and Elaina Genser Culinary Center at RPAL. Rotary was proud to provide funding for the appliances at the center. Rotary previous president Oscar Garcia oversaw the District Grant that funded the project. Rotarian Sarah Wally managed the project. Rotarians also did volunteer work at the center. Congrats to Executive Director Larry Lewis and the board and staff at RPAL.
