Miracle Messages is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the isolation and loneliness experienced by our unhoused neighbors. Through innovative programs that reconnect people with loved ones and foster new social support systems, Miracle Messages offers a human-centered approach to addressing homelessness.

At this talk, Megan will share how our local chapter (partnering with SOS Richmond) is making a difference, and how you can get involved as a volunteer or community advocate to help extend this mission!

From its beginning with a book box on a Berkeley school bus, the BBBP has grown to run two programs that, combined, deliver books monthly to 2,000+ local children. Literacy is key to thriving in our world. Books from birth in the home are the best tools in the best place at the best time to plant and nurture the neural brain roots of literacy.

Instead, join us to help beautify the Miraflores Greenbelt through weeding and litter pick up!

Volunteers should wear closed-toed and water-resistant shoes, long sleeves and long pants. Conditions may be damp or wet.

Lunch tools and supplies will be provided.
