In plants as well as in any other biological systems, problems often develop when the root of said system is damaged, neglected and poisoned. We overlook the ancestral wisdom, of herbal knowledge and foodways as a means of medicine for the body, mind & spirit. We teach folks to use planting ( whether it be a yard or yardage) as a remedy when confronting the problems that stem from colonialism, racial inequality, health disparities and the delocalization of real food sources.
